Duct Cleaning

‘I didn’t know it needed to be cleaned’ is something we hear all too often. It is very often over looked until there is a problem. Having your duct cleaned on a regular basis will help to minimise down time on your equipment.

While your dryer is in use it removes the moisture and lint from your garments, this will then end up in the ducting which then reduces your airflow and massively reduces the efficiency of the machine using more energy and taking longer to dry. The lint in the ducting has the potential to over heat the machine and cause a fire.

Your duct clean will include

  • Inspection of the duct work including termination by our qualified gas engineers.
  • Full duct clean and lint/debris removal
  • Before and after evidence photos
  • A duct clean certificate

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that you must carry out fire safety risk assessments and keep them up to date. This includes an inspection and assessment of the ductwork and performing maintenance as required to ensure that your laundry room is safe.

Fires caused by poor or no maintenance of the dryer ducts could mean that your insurance policy won’t pay out. Get in touch today using our request a quote form
